Sam and Carrie Barth are "Co-operators" of what has grown to become one of the most complete training stables in the Upper Midwest. Both Sam and Carrie have extensive backgrounds in the equine industry and bring complimentary talents together to train and finish the miniature show horse. The training division of our farm, Sam Barth Stables (SBS) is directed by Sam while the breeding program, Cannon River Creations or CRC is managed by Carrie. Home bred horses will carry either the SBS or the Cannon River (CRC) Prefix.

Our training center accepts a very small number of horses each year as we strive to present the very best horse in its division. Whether its a top halter prospect or candidate for performance, you can be assured that your horse will be prepared and ready to compete. The horses we present must have the potential to show and place all the way to nationals! We require dedication and commitment from our clients and in turn promise to do our best to ensure their success.

As the industry continues to flourish and grow - we welcome and assist new small equine enthusiasts - our seasoned clients our encouraged to help new miniature owners by providing information, advice , support, guidance, and friendship. Owner/amateurs are welcome to come out for lessons with their horses when we are not in the final preparation for our next show.
